Privacy Policy

This policy explains what this website collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers supportitventures.in only. Our individual product sites have their own policies.

Who we are

Support IT Ventures operates this website. For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your data, contact us at hello@supportitventures.in. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.

What we collect, and when

If you send an enquiry

Your name and email address, and anything else you choose to put in the phone, company, subject and message fields. We also record the page you sent it from, your IP address, your browser user agent, the time, and the exact wording of the consent you agreed to.

If you use the chat window

Everything you type, plus a random identifier stored in your browser session so the conversation follows you between pages, your IP address and the page you started from. Your name and email only if you enter them. Conversations are read by our team and are not anonymous.

If you message us on WhatsApp

That conversation happens on WhatsApp, not here. Meta processes it under its own terms, and we see your WhatsApp display name and number. If you would rather we did not, use email or the contact form.

If you simply browse

A session cookie, which the site needs in order to work and to run the security check on the contact form. Standard web server logs holding IP address, page, time and user agent.

This site runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If that ever changes, this page will say so first and you will be asked to agree before any tracker loads.

Why we hold it

Enquiry and chat content is used to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that work. IP address and user agent are kept to identify automated submissions and abuse. Server logs exist to keep the site running and secure.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries — as long as needed to answer them, or to deliver and support work that follows.
• Chat conversations — kept with the enquiry record they relate to, and removed on the same basis.
• Security and audit records — on a fixed retention schedule, deleted automatically when it expires.

Who else sees it

Your data is stored on our hosting provider's servers and passes through our email provider when we reply. Those are processors acting on our instructions. Nobody else receives it unless the law requires it. We do not transfer your data outside India except insofar as our hosting and email providers operate internationally.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw consent at any time. You can ask us to stop using your details for anything other than a legal obligation. Email us and we will act on it — we do not require a particular form of words.

Deleting your enquiry means we lose the context of your conversation with us, which is usually the point of asking.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Stored secrets are encrypted. Access to enquiry and chat data is limited to accounts that need it, and every access and change is recorded. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date above changes with it. Continuing to use the site after that means the new version applies.
